A Work in Progress — HARRIS COUNTY
As a native Houstonian, I've watched our city grow by leaps and bounds. But it seems that time has stood still in many communities found in Harris County — Houston's Historic 5th Ward, Acres Homes, Settegast, Northwood Manor, Sunnyside, 3rd Ward, Kashmere Gardens, Carver Dale, Denver Harbor, and East End, just to name a few.
The United States of America is one of the wealthiest nations on the planet. Texas is one of the richest states in the entire US, and Houston is one of the wealthiest cities in all of Texas. The glaring question is: why is Houston among the poorest Cities in the entire nation?
Over the years I have visited communities in the Houston area and presented a political platform to thousands of people — asking what they want from their representative and what they want from their government. Below you will find the issues that address the challenges of our nation and the solutions that will lead to a government that truly serves the people.
